Aug. 18-Dec. 8: 'Dare to Wear: Art As Fashion' exhibit at Columbus Museum

The Columbus Museum's "Dare to Wear: Art As Fashion" explores the intersection of artwork and body adornment. The exhibit opens Sunday, Aug. 18 and will be on view through Dec. 8. The artists and designers featured in the exhibition consider how the shape, form, and scale of jewelry and garments relate to the body. The pieces are technically wearable, but because of their sculptural quality they might be considered too radical for daily attire. It's free.
