After onshore instruction local teams took to the Chattahoochee River Sunday afternoon for practice sessions to prepare for the upcoming Uptown Dragon Boat Festival. Thirty two teams have registered for the event, which is scheduled for May 25 on the section of Chattahoochee River between the Oglethorpe Bridge and the Columbus Convention and Trade Center. Each of the boats can have a drummer in front, steersman in back and 22 paddlers. 05/19/13
