PRATTVILLE, Ala. -- Central’s Alex Harrell shot a 1-under 71 in the second round of the AHSAA Class 6A girls state golf tournament to come in second overall.
Harrell, who played as an individual, shot a 145 over the two-day event. Hannah Collier, Spain Park, was the individual state champion with a 141. She shot a 3-under 69 Tuesday. The tournament was played at the Robert Trent Jones Trail Capitol Hill—Senator Course.
Spain Park beat Auburn by two shots for the team championship.
