A 75-year-old woman in Parsons, Tenn. has been arrested after a lengthy investigation by the Decatur County Sheriff's Office.
Local law enforcement have nicknamed her "Kingpin Granny," according to many local media sources.
Police charged Betty Jordan with three counts of drug manufacturing/delivery/sale/possession, two counts of possession of a legend drug with intent, one count of possession and another count of evading arrest.
A legend drug is a drug that can only be obtained by prescription.
In her home, police say they found more than 1,000 pills, including morphine, oxycodone and Xanax. They also seized more than $12,000 in cash and assets from the home.
She was booked into the Decatur County Detention Center on Feb. 9 and released shortly after on a $50,000 bond.
Police say more arrests are likely as the investigation continues.
