Can't get enough of Christmas light displays?
The Parks at Chehaw in Albany, will continue to light up the park with its Festival of Lights.
“The support for our community and across South Georgia has been incredible. Our plans are to expand on the production every year by adding new elements and events during the holiday season,” says Sherrell Byrd, special events coordinator of the Parks at Chehaw.
More than 15,000 people have driven through the light display this season. It features millions of lights in animated holiday displays, including “Twelve Days of Christmas” and “Count the Rudolph’s”.
Never miss a local story.
“The support has been incredible, not only for Chehaw but for our local economy as well. When families drive to see the lights from other communities they are also supporting our businesses here in town. We hope the Festival of Lights continues to draw in large crowds in the future,” says Doug Porter, executive director of the Parks at Chehaw.
The lights are on 6-10 p.m. tonight through Sunday.
Tickets are $12 per car, $15 per passenger van and $25 per bus. The Christmas train is $3 per person.
The Parks at Chehaw are at 105 Chehaw Park Road.
