Atmosphere: It's a restored bus station, complete with curved walls, diner-style tables and chairs and booths. A free jukebox plays oldies. Look for the a mural of the bus station cafe's former waitresses.
Beverages: Acclaimed sweet tea, as well as lemonade, Coke products and beer.
Starters: Fried pickles ($4.50), sweet potato chips with blue cheese dip ($4), Vidalia onion dip with Fritos ($4.50).
Main dishes: Barbecue pork, beef, chicken, ham, turkey. Don't like barbecue? Choose fried chicken or hamburger steak or Country's salads.
Side items: Brunswick stew, chili, vegetable soup (Each $2 per cup, $3.50 per bowl). Gigantic baked sweet potatoes ($2) are great with brown sugar. Baked beans, butter beans, black-eyed peas, corn on the cob, barbecue onions and more.
Of note: The Bus Driver's Specials, daily specials that cost $5.50-$8.
