Menu: New Orleans style cuisine, steaks and seafood. Specialties include jambalaya, red beans and rice, gumbo, etouffee — most adorned with crawfish, crab legs, sausage, chicken, shrimp or some combination. Also the seafood bucket: a low country boil with choice of seafood -- snow crab, crab legs, shrimp, etc. Beverages: Tea, sodas and coffee, fresh lemonade and IBC root beer. Wine by the bottle or the glass, domestic and import beers. Remember, no Sunday liquor sales in Harris County. Atmosphere: Inside, the place evokes a French Quarter streetscape, with mock balconies, gaslight lamps, wrought-iron columns and draped Mardi Gras beads. A country setting that is elegantly casual with candles on the tables.
Cost: Entrees start about $9 and average about $15, with surf and turf on the high end at $25. Lunch menu averages around $9, with sandwiches starting at $5.95.
