Who says you have to like sports to enjoy the Aflac Outdoor Games?
When the event comes to downtown Columbus this weekend, it will likely attract music fans as well as sports enthusiasts.
That’s not hard to believe, given the two entertainment stages and packed nightlife lineup.
The AT&T Main Stage will be in the riverfront area, while the Coors Light Stage will be on Broadway.
Don’t know where to start? Try these highlights:
Bill Gentry and the 35 Cent Rodeo (9 p.m. Friday, AT&T Main Stage)
Gentry is a rising country star who grew up in Carrollton, Ga. He’ll help you kick off your weekend with a spirited “yee-haw.”
Devon Allman’s Honeytribe (9 p.m. Saturday, AT&T Main Stage)
Devon Allman is the son of legendary musician Gregg Allman. Expect high-energy rock and blues.
Jasper Drive (Friday and Saturday at Flip Flops), Whisky Bent (Friday and Saturday at Scruffy Murphy’s)
Your Aflac Outdoor Games wristband gets you into nightlife on Broadway. If the weather’s nice, make sure to check out the outdoor patios at Flip Flops and Scruffy Murphy’s. Both bars will host performances by acts with strong local followings.
