The Eufaula Heritage Association’s fifth annual Christmas Tour of Homes will be held Saturday in Eufaula, Ala.
Festivities will begin at 11 a.m. with a seated luncheon at the Shorter Mansion. The cost is $25. There is limited seating and reservations are required.
From 1 to 4:30 p.m., four modern houses, draped in holiday splendor, will be open to the public for the “Christmas Present” tour. In the evening, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., four magnificent historic homes will come alive in all their yesteryear glory for a candlelight “Christmas Past” tour.
At 8 p.m., there will be an elegant dinner served at the Shorter Mansion. Guests will experience dining at its finest in one of the most beautiful homes in the South. The price of the dinner is $42.50. Reserve in advance. Tours of Shorter Mansion are available only with the purchase of the luncheon and dinner.
The ticket price for all eight homes is $40. For four homes, the cost is $20. Admission to individual homes is $6.
As a thank-you to military, active and retired service members are admitted free to the homes. Admission is regular price for family members.
