Zombies are kind of a running inside joke from when we first met.
I used to display these cards proudly in my cubicle at my old job - if people didn't think I was weird already, that sealed the deal. Who, especially at the age of 23, displays trading cards at her desk?
These are special though - Hollywood Zombie trading cards, brought to you by the sick minds who created Garbage Pail Kids trading cards.
Who knew that they still make these trading cards - there's Hannah Montana, iCarly, Heroes, High School Musical 3 - it's crazy. Check them out here.
But I digress. Back to zombies.
There has been lots of zombie-buzz in the past few years, most notably with the remake of "Dawn of the Dead," the "Resident Evil" movies and "Shaun of the Dead."
I'm pretty excited about the zombie-comedy (zomedy?) "ZombieLand," which will be out later this year. And it was filmed in Georgia.
Here's a cool interview with the cast (including Woody Harrelson) and director, Ruben Fleischer.
There's supposed to be a red-band trailer up today on MySpace Trailer Park, but it's not there yet. Keep checking back.
In somewhat related news, Mr. Rob Zombie is directing a second Halloween movie - the soundtrack of which will be released Aug. 25, three days before the movie hits theaters. Here's a link to the official movie site.
