Time for Adam Lambert, who tells us he's doing a special arrangement of "Ring of Fire."
Randy Travis' reaction? "I don't even really know what to say about this boy."
Never miss a local story.
He adds, "For me, I don't see men wearing nail polish that often."
That special arrangement? It's a goth take on the song, something Marilyn Manson would probably pull out. Adam seductively croons the lyrics against an arrangement that relies on lots of Egyptian sounds. Again, Adam succeeds in dividing fans, but I'm not quite sure where I fit. This is the first time Adam seems to value shock value more than vocal performance.
Kara: "It left me confused and kind of happy."
Paula: "You're raising your own bar each week."
Simon: "What the hell was that...I thought it was absolute indulgent rubbish."
Randy: "If you can imagine Nine Inch Nails doing a country song, that's what it was."
