I went to the reception tonight for the opening of the Southern Watercolor Society exhibit.
My friend Geri Davis has been working on this exhibit and SWS annual meeting for the past three years.
It's been driving her frantic. I saw her very patient husband, Charles, and he said he was glad it's almost over. But then someone said she'll still be the president for another year.
Anyway, you've got to see the exhibit. It's amazing. It's in the Illges Gallery of the Corn Center for the Visual Arts, and is open 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday through June 27.
There are almost 600 people at the reception tonight and I didn't get a chance to really look at it. I'll go back later.
