Time for Kris Allen, who talks about his childhood dream of being a taxi cab driver.
He sings 1985's "All She Wants to Do Is Dance," standing in the middle of the crowd with an electric guitar. As usual, he does a decent job adding a contemporary edge to a song that on the surface doesn't leave much room for interpretation. But this tune isn't as vocally challenging as stuff Kris has chosen in the past, and ultimately it showcases his stage presence more than his vocal talent.
Kara: "It kind of lost a lot of its youth."
Paula: "You did change it up to make it uniquely your own."
Simon: "It was indulgent, boring, forgettable...It was a stupid, stupid song choice."
Randy: "I lost you."
