We all have guilty pleasures. When my boyfriend is at work or sleeping and I don't have any work to do, I like to get on the Internet to catch up on "Army Wives."
Since I don't have cable it's really nice that Lifetime has full episodes on their website.
Never miss a local story.
Whenever I talk to actual Army wives who also watch the show, I feel a little less guilty about loving it as much as I do. I just think it's interesting, plus I can pick up on some things and ask my boyfriend if that's really how things worked.
The one time he watched about 10 minutes of an episode with me he picked apart everything that was wrong and stupid about it.
Right now, Denise (who used to be my second favorite) got fired from her job for having an affair with a patient (she was a nurse). Her husband was deployed and he was sent home to "deal with it." It looks like they'll be getting a divorce.
Denise isn't playing the victim too much, but it's a hard topic to tackle because it happens and it's horrible. It's hard enough on any marriage when there is an affair, but when one spouse is deployed in a war zone it ups the ante.
Does anyone watch the show? I haven't seen last night's episode yet, so this question might be a little dated, but do you think there is any hope for Denise and Frank?
