Next up, it's Didi Benami, who talks about moving to LA and her close relationship with her mom. Her mom doesn't like to listen to the criticism she receives from judges.
She sings "Play With Fire." It's a dark, restrained performance that at points seems to fit Didi's signature vocals perfectly. She's clearly nervous, though, and I think she nearly forgets the lyrics at least once. Overall, though, I like it because it's the most personality we've seen from Didi all season. Tons of emotion and attitude.
Randy: "You were on fire tonight."
Ellen: "You have an amazing voice."
Kara: "There's something very compelling about the sweetness of your voice with the eerieness of the song."
Simon: "You are beginning to show us the kind of artist you want to be...It was a very solid, not brilliant, performance."
