Last weekend, the fourth season of "Dexter" premiered on Showtime.
I was fortunate enough to be in a location where Showtime was readily available and got to watch it - practically in real time! (ok, so it was DVR'ed, but it was quicker than I usually get my hands on episodes)
I've been an avid watcher of the show since it's inception and I must say, this season looks like it'll be a good one.
For those who have yet to tune in (episode two aired last night, but I'm back in my un-cabled home now), John Lithgow is this season's special guest star. Just in the first episode, we unfortunately see him nude - twice.
But his character is delightfully evil - I have a feeling he'll be regarded as a Richard III-type.
Despite the fact that each season seems to begin with and have an underlying theme of Dexter always on the brink of being "discovered," I think this is one of the most original shows out there right now.
Though I am also enamored with "True Blood" right now - and about half-way through season two. I think this show is much better than "Twilight," but the first few episodes strongly reminded me of the teen movie. Also LOVE the music.
But back to where we started . . .
I'm pretty excited to see where things go with the Trinity Killer and how Deb handles her old lover Special Agent Frank Lundy being back in the picture.
Any "Dexter" watchers out there? What do you think of the new season so far?
