Well, wasn't this just a matter of time?
That's right - the first male prostitutes are expected to grace the boudoirs of Nevada's brothels within a month. The thought is enough to make a U.S. representative weep. Why, the lawmaker cries while standing soaked in the rain, isn't it legal in D.C.?
Fear not, gentle legislator. It's just a sign of the times. Many will think male prostitutes are yet another indicator of the end times. Sure, they'll be a few protests, somewhere, but not enough to close down any form of prostitution in sin city, or sin county, whichever.
This is the way the world is, and it's only going to continue in this direction. To all the Pat Buchanan's and James Dobson's out there, sorry, guys. America will never go back to the idyllic 50s, though politicians will certainly get elected on that platform for decades to come.
And as far as this being a sign of America's core values being eroded? Doubtful. For that, you need to look to D.C., which, unfortunately for Mr. Straw Man Representative, doesn't have any brothels.
Any that are legal, that is.
