Yesterday, I wrote about the momma cat and her babies who just showed up in our drieway.
When I left this morning, she was nursing the babies.
Never miss a local story.
When I got home, they were all gone. The plywood that had been up since my brother put it there months ago, was on the ground and so was a small shelving unit.
About 30 minutes later, I heard some rustling outside. It was Momma. Still no babies. I fed her and gave her something to drink. She ate it all and drank all the milk/water mixture.
I was hoping she had just hidden her babies somewhere else and would bring them back. And I hoped she'd come back before the rain started.
My mother and I checked a few minutes ago and there's no sign of the mother or babies.
Those cats aren't even mine, but I'm worried.
I tried to download some pictures, but I got a warning that said the pictures were too big. I'll try ti figure it out and post the photo of the dark gray kitten.
And about Piiko. She's the first dog we've had who will sit up and beg. My mother was eating last night and she was sitting up and looking at her with those big eyes, asking for a bite of her rice ball. She's so cute. Again, the picture was too big.
