Since I've written about it twice and talked to the instructor as well as several participants, I decided to check out the beginning of the second Couch to 5K program last night at Cooper Creek Park.
It's sponsored by the Columbus Roadrunners - find out all about the program here.
There were a lot of people - I'd say probably at least 30-40, but I'm not very good at guesstimating and I certainly didn't count. My friend and I showed up not really knowing what to expect and left sweaty and happy. I'd encourage anyone who is intimidated by running to check it out. They ease you into it real slow. It's painless, I promise.
But what I really want to talk about this morning is the adorable Sarah Jessica Parker, her husband and their newly born baby twin girls.
The names of the girls, who were born yesterday to a surrogate in Ohio, are Tabitha Hodge and Marion Loretta Elwell.
Loretta is a fantastic name. I've only met one Loretta in my life and she was a pretty cool chick. Think SJP bestowing it upon her daughter will give it a come-back in popularity?
What I like best about these names, however, is that they sounds pretty normal. I've never understood why celebrities name their children with such utter abandon of how that kid's going to feel when he or she gets older.
I guess it's worked out ok for Rumer Willis because she's in that Hollywood circle (though I don't know what she's done excpet be Bruce & Demi's daughter) - but, really? Would you ever name your kid that? It's awful.
I give props to SJP and Broderick for staying classy.
