Because I thought the whole debacle was ridiculous in the first place, I was pleased to find out that Donald Trump ruled in favor of the beauteous Carrie Prejean. Her Miss California crown will not be revoked.
It seems ironic to me that the people who chastise her for her more traditional answer to the same-sex marriage question would be outraged that she's posed for half-nude photos.
But the Don has spoken and so it is. Carrie remains Miss California. The answer that cost her the Miss USA crown has now catapulted her into fame (or infamy, depending how you look at it).
An excerpt highlighting my favorite aspect of this "controversy":
But Trump, who owns the Miss Universe organization, praised Prejean for her "honest answer" when she was asked a "very tough question," noting that it was the same answer that President Obama has given.
