Producers have billed this season's Hollywood Week as drama-packed, and tonight's group performances -- driven by personality conflicts -- definitely delivered.
Most notably, Bikini Girl finally got the boot. Tired of standing high heels all day, she abandoned her team's rehearsal early -- and bombed the next day's performance. Also on Bikini Girl's team? Rebellious Rose, who was also ousted for poor vocals.
A more fortunate drama queen was Tatiana, who despite an over-the-top personality and annoying laugh got the OK to advance. Her future should be interesting, considering team members at one point compared her to Satan.
Finally, the most dramatic team of the bunch was ironically named Compromise. It was composed of Nancy, Nathaniel and Kristen (of "Nashville Star" fame) -- three people constantly fighting for apparently no real reason. Nathaniel and Kristen hung around, but Nancy got a "no."
The majority of producer favorites delivered solid vocals, but we did lose a couple prominent names.
In addition to Rose and Bikini Girl, we lost pink-haired Emily Wynne-Hughes and David Osmond of THE Osmonds, as well as Amy Winehouse lookalike Frankie Jordan and class president Austin Sisneros.
We're down to 75 singers. Hollywood Week continues next Tuesday.
