Chapter 275 of the Southern Cruisers have a new website. On its home page is its rules for membership. There are links to their annual fundraiser Bikes on Broadway, as well as a list of officers, an events calendar and how-to-join info. Click here to go to the site now.
The group's officers are looking for feedback on the website, which they say will be updated often. Tell them or leave a comment here and I'll pass it along. (Reminder, to leave comments, all you need to do is set up a free log-in identity with ledger-enquirer.com. Look to the right side of this page.)
And a reminder about Bike Night tonight at the Road House from 9-11 p.m. in downtown Columbus. Sign up for the dice run during Bikes on Broadway in September and for your chance to win a trip to OCC. Ride packets are $35 for solo riders, $45 for doubles, which also gets you a Bikes on Broadway T-shirt (or two) and a Yuengling shirt or hat, while supplies last. Yuengling Breweries are the main sponsor of Bikes on Broadway.
A portion of the entry fee goes to Paul Teutel Sr.'s favorite charity, Intrepid Fallen Heroes. The Southern Cruisers donate all profits from the event to "Our House at Carpentders Way Ranch for Boys" and the "Arabella Home for Girls" located here in Columbus.
