I just got word from Troy Heard, the artistic director of the Chattahoochee Shakespeare Co. about his 2009-10 season.
All of the productions will be in his new space 1242 Broadway, which is across the street from the Bradley Theatre.
Never miss a local story.
"Here ya go, gang ... the official pre-announcement of our 2009/10 season," said Troy. The only one not at the new space will be "The Merry Wives of Windsor," which will be in the Riverfront Amphitheatre.
"The Rocky Horror Show," July 23-Aug. 15.
"The Tempest," Sept. 10-26.
"Cannibal! The Musical," Oct. 22-Nov. 7.
"The Santaland Diaries," Dec. 3-19.
"Oleanna," Jan. 14-30.
"Romeo and Juliet," Feb. 18-March 6.
"Return of the 24-Hour Plays," March 20.
"Betty's Summer Vacation," April 1-17.
"The Merry Wives of Windsor," May 6-9.
Before he can mount "The Rocky Horror Show," he's got to get the space ready.
So if you want to volunteer your time, there's going to be a work day at 10 a.m. Saturday.
"Bring grubby clothes, paint brushes, mops, buckets, brooms, etc.," said Troy.
