Here's Paige Miles, who was raised by her mom after her dad passed away. Paige's mom talks about how Paige got her start singing in church.
Paige sings "Honky Tonk Women" and things start a little rough. She picks it up quickly, and as much as I expected to hate this, it's really pretty engaging. When she hits those big belting notes, she's really strong. You can't even tell that she struggled with her voice today. My only criticism: This performance at times borders on typical stuff you'd see at an amusement park show or nightclub.
Randy: "You did all right with it. You kind of pulled it out."
Ellen: "I loved that you used the stage...You really sounded amazing."
Kara: "The young Paige is back...that's what this performance is saying."
Simon: "You really hit some big notes...You still yet haven't quite connected."
Paige tells us that this tonight's show was the first time she performed the whole song.
