Fans of "Harry Potter" who can take Tuesday off have a treat in store for them.
Carmike Cinemas is holding the "Harry Potter" marathon starting at 9 a.m. in Carmike 15 at Columbus Park Crossing.
The movies will be shown in order, starting with "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," and ending with "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix."
Tickets for all five movies are only $15.
Then the theater will get ready for he new movie, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" at midnight.
Tickets are $9.50 and discount tickets will not be accepted.
Carmike's marketing director Dale Hurst said tickets are still available for the midnight show. And if it does sell out, a second theater will be opened, he said.
I spoke to some teens and young adults today who love "Harry Potter."
One of them said he'll wait to see the movie until July 21. I asked why and he said the popcorn deal is Tuesday. That's when popcorn is $1.
I think I'll wait until then, too. Or maybe not.
And then I found out that in a few weeks, it'll be at the IMAX theater in the new National Infantry Museum.
So I'll gor see it there, too.
Oh, I am a big "HP" fan, if you couldn't tell.
