. . . today has been dubbed by someone far superior in intellect than you or I as Eat What You Want Day.
And when I started reading about it, my senitment's fell in line with what the story said: Don't people do this most days? Isn't this encouraging some kind of disorder?
I don't think anyone would promote a "Drink All (the alcohol) You Want Day," though I could be wrong what with loose morals and flexible principles running rampant.
I suppose since it's not called "Eat All You Want of What You Want Until You Can't Move Day" that makes it okay. Even though the implication is there.
Many people have an unhealthy relationship with food. We as a nation should encourage mindful and healthy eating.
If you're dieting and you get a cheat day, here's your day. If you really want to waste it on a Monday.
However, I didn't know about it until I was looking for something to blog about, so hopefully most people have never even heard about it.
