Years ago, decades even, our Founding Fathers put together a government that has stood the test of time. Why? Because they intended that the governed wouldn't be that involved in it.
Today, the governed are so involved in the workings of their government that it makes one long for the return of feudalism. You may refer to me as Viscount Riquelmy as you read the following:
Look at this awful understandingof the health care debate. The rumors have settled in, raised some kids and already sent them door to door with their BS. A few mistruths that are running around include the creation of death panels and paying for illegal immigrants' health care.
Under the current proposals, neither of those will happen. Unfortunately, that doesn't stop the whargarbl from coming out at town hall after town hall. People yell at their elected official, spout off questions that have already been answered and yell a bit before the next misinformed malcontent takes the microphone.
The time for screaming as a means for therapy is over. Now, we need to discuss big people issues that, seemingly, many people can't comprehend.
Now, fetch me some grapes so that I may lounge about in opulence.
