I had a lovely weekend that included dinner with good friends, working in the garden and lots of enjoyment of the warm weather.
I hope you all had a Happy Easter! I certainly did. Dinner with the neighbors, then home to watch a little TV before bedtime.
I'm still in love with Netflix instantly streaming through the PS3 and last night I watched an episode of the Starz original series "Spartacus: Blood and Sand."
I was actually that I liked it. Though I'm not surprised my fiance liked it, especially because it opened with the warnings of "graphic violence" and "strong sexual content."
I've probably talked about Netflix more than anyone cares to hear, but it really does make watching TV fun. And there are so many options!
For instance, I just watched the pilot for "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." Can you do that with your fancy cable or satellite? Yeah, I didn't think so.
And I've also just queued up "The Fly" starring Jeff Goldblum, a movie that I saw pieces of as a child (totally on accident) and it scared the crap out of me, so I know that I have to watch it again.
It's probably not even scary, but as a five-year-old, just the thought of a man turning into an insect is enough to give you nightmares.
They just added a bunch of pretty awesome TV series' to their list, but they keep up with "Spartacus" as the series goes on.
It's already on the 11th episode (we've got some catching up to do!), but the season doesn't end for a couple of weeks.
I'm not sure how long they wait before releasing the newest episode to instant streaming, but even if it's a day or a week, it's a pretty sweet deal.
Anyone else watching?
