Three places to meet fellow motorcyclists this Thursday. Talk bikes, rides and share some food with new friends. All are open meetings.
Calvary Riders, the local chapter of the Christian Motorcyclists Association, has its monthly meeting at the FOP Lodge on Heiferhorn Drive, just off of Whitesville Road, north of the
Williams Road intersection. Meet there at 6:30 p.m. A catered dinner is available for $7. Come meet, eat and fellowship with bikers who are also believers.
Southern Cruisers have their second "Bike Night" to register for Bikes on Broadway and the drawing for a trip to Orange County Choppers headquarters. One of the lucky trip winners from all of Yuengling Brewery's distribution areas in 13 states will also win an OCC chopper. Bike night happens at Hooters this week, 6 p.m. Your $35 registration gets you a Yuengling T-shirt or hat and a commemorative gold coin while they last. At the Sept. 10-11 Bikes on Broadway, you'll also get a T-shirt and entry in the dice ride.
Valley Motorcycle Touring Association will meet at 6:30 p.m. at Mark's City Grill on Moon Road, between J.R. Allen Parkway and Veterans Parkway.
If your motorcycle organization would like its meetings and events included, e-mail me here.
