I don't know about you, but I love lobster. So it's great that St. Nicholas Episcopal Church of Hamilton, is holding its Eighth annual Lobsterfest. While the church is in Hamilton, the dinner will be at 6-10 p.m. Sept. 24 at Sweet Home Plantation in Pine Mountain.
It's $45 for the lobster dinner and you get a 1 1/2 pound lobster. For those of you who are allergic to seafood or just don't like lobster, the beef tenderloin dinner is $35. A child's plate is $5.
Besides the dinner, there will be a cash raffle ($100 a ticket with a $5,000 first prize), silent auction and music by The Traditions.
There are two deadlines: you must buy tickets for the dinner by 5 p.m. Sept. 15 and tickets for the cash raffle by 5 p.m. Sept. 23.
