Jimmy's, a Cajun and creole restaurant in Opelika, is planning a special wine dinner for Feb. 28. The dinner is called "Ribs and More." It will feature items having "ribs" including meats, seafood, fruits and vegetables. Five courses will be served, each with a special wine pairing that will bring out the flavors of each dish. If you've never been to Jimmy's, this wine dinner would be a great way to explore the New Orleans' inspired food creations of chef Jimmy. The food is delicious but not pretentious, and the restaurant's vast wine selection has received praise from Wine Spectator magazine.
The waitstaff is welcoming, and guests will feel like regulars on their first visits. Learn more about Jimmy's and take a look at the menu at www.jimmysopelika.com.
If you can't make it to the wine dinner, be sure to visit Jimmy when he's in Columbus for the Toast of the Town fundraiser on March 11 at the RiverMill Event Centre.
