I have never seen an episode of "The Bachelor," and just because the new cast of "Dancing with the Stars" was going to be announced tonight, I wasn't going to watch.
I went online and found that this is another strange cast.
Former Playmate and Hugh Hefner girlfriend, Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett, 25; football player Hines Ward, 24; Ralph Macchio, 49, of "Karate Kid" fame; boxer Sugar Ray Leonard, 54; professional wrestler Chris Jericho, 40; reality TV star; Kirstie Alley, 60, of "Cheers"; Romeo, 21, whose father, Master P, took his place when he had to drop out; Chelsea Kane, 22, star of "Fish Hooks" and co-stars with last year's fan favorite, Kyle Massey; talk show host Wendy Williams, 46; supermodel Petra Nemcova; and "Psycho" Mike Catherwood, 31, a Los Angeles disc jockey.
Am I crazy, or did Chris Jericho already do this show and was booted early on?
And why use a disc jockey that only those in Los Angeles has ever heard?
Nemcova's claim to fame came when she and her fiance were caught in the tsunami in Thailand. He was swept away and she clung to a tree for eight hours before she was rescued. It must have been very, very traumatic.
Holly Madison was another of Hef's girlfriends to do the show. She's now dancing in a burlesque show in Las Vegas. Wilkinson-Baskett married a football player and has a baby.
Looks like a not-so-great cast, don't you think?
The series starts March 21.
