Next week's "American Idol" theme is songs from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Nine singers remain in the competition.
I participated in Friday's media conference call with ousted contestants Thia Megia and Naima Adedapo. Click here to read my tweets.
Short summary: I didn't learn much. Thia was, well, what you'd expect from a typical teenager. She delivered lots of short, vague answers. Naima was a little more exciting. Both women were asked if the female contestants felt like they were at a disadvantage.
"More than 50 percent of the audience is like little teenage girls," Naima said.
Never miss a local story.
I can't believe just three women remain in the competition. Of the three -- Lauren, Pia and Haley -- I think Lauren has the best shot at winning.
But really, the guys this season aren't THAT good. So why are the women dropping like flies? Is it really just the teen heartthrob factor?
Please give me your ideas. I'll cover this topic in my Tuesday column.
