For five decades, ordinary people at Fort Benning have done extraordinary things through their donations to the Combined Federal Campaign — providing vital funding to nonprofit organizations that make a difference in the lives of our Soldiers and their Families. We support the agencies that support us. It’s that simple. Since 2005, Fort Benning’s federal employees have contributed more than $5.6 million to CFC to support local, national and international causes.
We are past the midway point of this year’s campaign, which ends Dec. 15, and still have a ways to go to meet our goal. Whether you give a little or a lot, every dollar counts to helping a charity continue its services. When it comes down to it, we all can make a difference as when the dollars are combined they help charities continue to take care of business and take care of people.
This year’s CFC pamphlet contains information on hundreds of charities covering a wealth of needs, such as wildlife protection, medical research, international aid and wounded warriors. See your unit CFC representative for a pamphlet if you haven’t already received one. Help us continue to make CFC one of the most effective channels for philanthropic giving in the nation.
