I often don't pay attention to commercials. I don't look at the ads in the newspaper, either. Whoops! I should not say that. I read every ad and I do peruse the Sunday circulars in our newspaper.
This television commercial caught my eye because the "star" is a leopard. A gorgeous leopard running through the snow, chasing after horse-drawn carriage. Then the scene changes and he starts interacting with a dragon on the Great Wall of China and later with an elephant that had a model of the Taj Mahal on it. Later, the leopard jumped on one of those earlier airplanes (like the ones the Wright brothers would have flown) and then jumped off in Paris.
All throughout the commercials, there were jewels and rings of gold.
And finally it walks in a fancy apartment. There is a beautiful woman in a long gown sitting in a chair. The leopard walks up to her and she stroked its head.
It was a long commercial, longer than usual.
And it was for Cartier, the jeweler. I would have known if I'd watched from the beginning, but I did not. There were the tell-tale signs during the commercial that it was Cartier from its signature gold rings and watch.
It is absolutely beautiful.
I've posted a link so you can see it.
