Atlanta has been a hot spot, especially recently, for the horror industry and this weekend all things horror are coming together for Days of the Dead, a horror convention featuring actors, writers, movies and more.
The Atlanta Retro blog offers their top 10 reasons to attend.
The event kicks off tonight from 5-11 p.m., then continues 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday at the Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center, 2443 Highway 54 West, Peachtree City, Ga.
Tickets are $50 for a weekend pass and are available at the door.
Never miss a local story.
Guests include "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, Sid Haig, Gary Busey and many, many more — including some zombies from "The Walking Dead."
It sounds like a pretty fun and amazing line up of guests and events. Not to mention that you'll have another chance to check out "Dear God No!" — a throwback grindhouse film I checked out at the Plaza Theater last year and thoroughly enjoyed.
So if you're looking for something fun — and slightly horrifying — to do this weekend, I think I just found your place.
