Nervous about your wedding? You might want to call the whole thing off. I'm only half kidding.
A new UCLA study suggests wedding jitters might be more than "just nerves." In a summary of the study, a Smithsonian blog post notes, "Newlywed wives who were plagued by doubt before the wedding were two-and-a-half times more likely to get divorced four years later than wives who were certain they were making the right choice."
I've never been married, but I've always heard some degree of doubt and nervousness is natural on your wedding day.
These study results make the tendency seem not as universal. Then again, there's only so much I can say, having never walked down the aisle in a white dress.
Never miss a local story.
Weigh in, married readers: Did any of you NOT experience jitters on your big day?
