If you are a fan of theater, you're in luck.
Tomorrow though Saturday, you have the final three chances to see two really great plays.
I saw "Rent" in Columbus State University's Riverside Theatre last Friday.
It is a great show with a great cast.
Never miss a local story.
I saw "Cotton Patch Gospel" tonight in the Springer Opera House's Foley Hall.
Another great show. This one is basically a one-man show with Ron Anderson, who is simply amazing. It also features the wonderful Justice Family Bluegrass Band.
Each of the shows are selling well, so don't dawdle. Buy your tickets now.
The third show is "The Women" at the Liberty Theatre. I haven't had a chance to see it yet. It's Friday-Saturday.
I'm going to try to see it Saturday. Some friends saw it last weekend and they said it was wonderful. Oz said the sublime Sheila Green-Williams was fantastic, as usual.
I think you won't have problems getting tickets for this one.
So like I said, if you like theater, this is the weekend that you have to make a decision which one you want to see. A contemporary musical, a musical based on the Bible or an original show that showcase women.
