Sometimes I wonder about smart, smart women.
Like Marissa Mayer, who is the CEO of Yahoo!
A couple of months ago, she stopped the practice of working from home for some people. Mayer thought that you should be at your desk at all times.
Now that her company has bought Flickr, she had this to say:
Never miss a local story.
“There’s no such thing as Flickr Pro today because [with so many people taking photographs] there’s really no such thing as professional photographers anymore,” Mayer said (though she acknowledged that there are “different skill levels”).
Like I said, she either needs a publicist who tells her what to say, or she should think very carefully about what she says.
Or just be mysterious and not talk.
