Auburn's Ariccia Trattoria & Bar's Farm-to-Table Dinners return this summer with a new twist. Each week, a different member of Ariccia’s culinary team will create one Farm-to-Table dish highlighting the products he or she purchases at the Ag Heritage Farmers Market earlier that day. The dish will be featured as a special for the evening, and the price for an entrée will cost $19 or $10 for dessert or an appetizer for two. The dinners are set for June 6, June 13, June 27, July 11, July 25, August 1, August 8, and August 15 starting at 6 p.m. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 334-844-5140.
“Our Farm-To-Table Dinners have been incredibly successful in the past, so we are excited to bring them back again this summer,” said Hans van der Reijden, Managing Director of the Hotel at Auburn University, in a news release. “This year we wanted to try something different by allowing different culinary team members to create one special dish each Thursday from the products purchased at the market. It’s a great way for the culinary team to show off their skills while building relationships with our local vendors.”
