The Miss Georgia 2016 Pageant is getting underway. Follow us here throughout the night for updates.
7:30: The night starts off with all the girls introducing themselves. Everyone is sporting a red, white or blue dress. USA! USA! USA!
7:40: Tonight we have Miss America Betty Cantrell with us. She was crowned Miss Georgia last year!
7:51: Tonight the top 15 girls from the preliminaries will compete for the crown. That will later be narrowed down to the final 5

7:54: Top 15: Miss UGA, Miss Fayette County, Miss Atlanta, Miss SE Georgia, Miss Hummingbird, Miss Cobb County, Miss Presidential, Miss Troupe County, Miss Golden Isles, Miss Northwest GA, Miss Rome, Miss Albany, Miss Greater Atlanta, Miss Fulton County. And number 15 is Miss Capital City
7:55: The top 15 are now leaving to get ready for swimsuit. A big round of applause to all the rest of the ladies who competed
7:59: $500 scholarships are given out for non-finalist girls who performed well in interview and talent preliminaries
8:02: The RiverCenter is absolutely packed tonight and the crowd is LOUD when they cheer for these young women
8:09: Miss Georgia Outstanding Teen Kelsey Hollis is introduced and thanks God for helping her this week. She still can't believe she won
8:11: Contestants all had to wear the same color swimsuit that Betty Cantrell wore when she won the Miss America title
8:29: Top 10: Miss Capital City, Miss Troup County, Miss Middlewest Georgia, Miss Cobb County, Miss Albany, Miss Golden Isles, Miss Greater Atlanta, Miss Rome, Miss University of Georgia and Miss Southeast Georgia.
9:10: We’re back from intermission. Next up is evening wear from the top 10 contestants. We’re seeing lots of satin and sparkle worn by these young ladies.
9:25: Next up is the talent competition. First up is Miss University of Georgia performing a dance.
9:29: Second contestant for talent is Miss Southeast Georgia with a tapping performance to "25 Miles"
9:29: The third performance is a ballet en pointe by Miss Cobb County
9:31: Fourth performance is Miss Troup County singing "All is Fair in Love and War"
9:32: Miss Golden Isles is next with a dance performance
9:33: Correction: The song performed was "All in Love is Fair"
9:34: The sixth performance Miss Middle West Georgia singing "Swing Low Sweet Chariot"
9:35: The seventh performance of the night is "Proud Mary"
9:37: Our eighth talent tonight is a ballet performance from Miss Albany
9:39: The ninth performance is tap to "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" from Miss Greater Atlanta
9:40: Miss Capital City is last performing ballet en pointe
9:41: That performance was from Miss Rome
10:01: The top 5 contestants are about to be announced!
10:02: Top 5: Miss Cobb County, Miss South East Georgia, Miss Golden Isles, Miss Capital City and Miss Rome
10:02: The top 5 contestants will now answer an onstage question
10:04: First up is Miss Cobb County. Her question is about preventing tragedies in light of recent events in Orlando
10:05: Miss South East Georgia is next. Her question is about if Senate should wait to have the next Supreme Court judge seat filled

10:07: Miss Capital City is up. Her question is about if celebrities should expect the same privacy as regular Americans
10:08: Miss Rome is the last one up. Her question is about Americans choosing to vote on one single issue
10:14: Miss Georgia 2015 takes her last walk across the stage as we get ready to announce the winner
10:25: The overall interview award goes to Miss Cobb County
