John Chapiewski, the executive chef at the Hilton Garden Inn, shows viewers how to make Cajun Shrimp Pasta in today’s video lesson.
CAJUN SHRIMP PASTA
2 ounces red bell peppers, julienned 2 ounces green bell peppers, julienned 2 ounces onions, sliced 2 ounces mushrooms, sliced 4 ounces marinara sauce 3 ounces heavy cream 2 ounces Cajun spices 10 shrimp, deveined 1 ounce vodka 6 ounces cooked penne pasta 2 ounces Parmesan cheese
Sauté red and green bell peppers and onions, then add the mushrooms. Add the marinara sauce, heavy cream and Cajun spices. Cook until blended. Add the shrimp and cook until almost done. Add the vodka. Then add the penne pasta. Cook until the pasta is coated.
Serve with the Parmesan cheese added to the top of the pasta.
