Sledge to discuss Mobile's ironwork at Auburn

Architectural historian and Auburn University alumnus John S. Sledge will present a free illustrated lecture on the architectural ironwork of Mobile, Ala., on Tuesday.

The lecture will be at 4 p.m. CST at Auburn's Jules Collins Smith Museum as part of the series "New Perspectives: Alabama Art in the Open."

A reception and book signing will follow.
