Auburn plans lecture on gospel and rock music

A free lecture on the influence of gospel music on rock 'n' roll will be April 16 at Auburn University's Ralph Brown Draughon Library.

Tim Dodge, a reference librarian and history subject specialist at the library, will give his talk at 3 p.m.

As "Dr. Hepcat" Dodge hosts the golden oldies show on campus radio station WEGL.

Dodge will make use of several recordings in his presentation.
