Columbus Tech is kicking off a campus-wide recycling effort today.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the student center of Patrick Hall, students in the SkillsUSA program, who are behind the campaign, will be telling students and faculty where on campus new recycling bins are going to be located.

The plan is for aluminum cans to go to the Ronald McDonald House. Plastic items will go to Goodwill Industries. Paper items will go to All American Recycling.

Amy Sandy is the project coordinator. She can be reached at 706-641-5282 or afenech@columbustech.edu.
