Seniors take tour of Phenix City Riverwalk

Keep Phenix City Beautiful and the Phenix City Parks & Recreation Department will again sponsort the Senior Tour of The Riverwalk, 9 a.m. EDT-Noon, May 19, beginning in the Phenix City Amphitheater parking lot.

The senior tour is a special morning of activities planned with senior citizens in mind. The tour takes the seniors on a golf cart ride or a leisurely walk on the Phenix City Riverwalk, giving them an opportunity to experience nature and the Chattahoochee River the way many wouldn't be able to enjoy otherwise.

The tour is free. Vendors will set up in front of the amphitheater to display items of interest to seniors. Door prizes will be given away and snacks will be available. Contact Pat Harrell at 334-749-0198 for more information.
