Tina Turner schedules Atlanta stop on Nov. 9

Eight-time Grammy Award winner and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member Tina Turner will bring her long-awaited 17-city North American tour to Atlanta's Philips Arena on Nov. 9.
Fans will hear all of Turner's hits. She will have a brand-new stage show, including her top-notch band, choreography, high-tech lighting and other features.
Songs from her early career like "River Deep, Mountain High," "Proud Mary" and "Nutbush City Limits," performed with then-husband Ike Turner. Other hits include "Let's Stay Together," "What's Love Got to Do With It?," "We Don't Need Another Hero" and "The Best." Her comeback in the 1990s was the song, "I Don't Wanna Fight," which was the theme song from the James Bond film "Goldeneye."
Tickets, $59.50-$152, go on sale at 10 a.m. May 19.
