Florence Marina ready for Memorial Day

There will be plenty to do at Florence Marina State Park on Memorial Day weekend May 24-26.

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. there will be boat rides, badminton, volleyball, crafts and videos.

The event will be held at the Educational Center.

There will be a $1 - $2 per person fee for craft lessons and boat rides. Parking is $3.

The park is located 16 miles west of Lumpkin, Ga. on Georgia Highway 39C.
