Auburn University is ranked 28th in the nation among land grant universities nationally and in the top 50 of public universities overall for the 16th consecutive year according to an annual survey released by U.S. News & World Report.
Among public universities Auburn was ranked No. 45.
Among all universities Auburn ranked 96 while Florida was No. 49, Georgia No. 58 and Alabama No. 83.
No. 1 overall was Harvard.
