The Lee County Auburn Club is hoping to further Auburn University's reputation for being a friendly campus by offering a program to illustrate the hospitable nature of the Auburn people.

The first element is a hospitality tent on football Saturdays for the fans of visiting teams, the first known of its kind.

It will be a place for those fans to get information about Auburn, the school and the city. Maps, brochures and water will be available.

In addition to that, members of the club will be selling orange and blue pins that read "Welcome to the Friendliest Village on the Plains."
